Variegated Acrylic Yarn

Acrylic, a synthetic fiber, cannot be digested by the larvae of the moth. But acrylic fabrics mixed with fibers such as wool can be damaged by clothes moths. Compared with natural fibers, acrylic fibers are also insufficient. For example, it often needs to be preheated to become soft, and as a wool alternative, it is slightly less warm in wet conditions. Some hand knitters find acrylic inconvenient to weave because of its lack of stretch. Also, it is more flammable than natural fibers, so it should be used with caution in baby and children's products.
